Sophie Daniel

Senior Learning & Development Consultant

​I am a senior learning and development and HR consultant in the UK. The core focus of my role is the onboarding and training of all new starters in our London office, which includes planning onboarding and training plans with managers, running HR inductions and providing training on various systems. Those who are new to recruitment will spend time with me in their first few weeks for sales and systems training.

Additionally, I am an ongoing support to consultants with training around Salesforce (our CRM), LinkedIn and other tools and technologies. I host regular Lunch & Learns as well as workshops on topics such as how to effectively use LinkedIn, monetising the CRM (Salesforce) and diversity and inclusion.

I take great pride in delivering a structured onboarding and training programme, with tailored support. I have worked in the recruitment sector since 2014, and bring a huge amount of empathy and understanding to my role and when working with consultants. I have a huge passion for upskilling consultants on Salesforce and improving our own processes through innovation.

#TeamEames can rely on me to always come up with a solution to problems I’m presented with – even if I don’t have the answer myself!

I joined Eames in late 2018 as a sales and system trainer, and have since developed my career into learning and development and HR, having passed my Level 3 CIPD in 2019, of which I am incredibly proud as I achieved this alongside working full-time!

What Eames value resonates with you the most and why?

Personal Accountability. It really allows me to take ownership and pride in my work. When everyone is accountable and does what they say they are going to do, it builds a high level of trust. You can really feel that at Eames between everyone, regardless of level and that has allowed me to expand on the responsibilities I have in my role and really push my career forward.

What does being an opportunity maker mean to you?

To never settle and constantly be looking for new and improved ways of doing things – with innovation comes opportunity!
