We are looking to hire an Assistant Management Accountant to join our internal finance team in the London office.

Key Responsibilities of the Assistant Management Accountant:

  • Processing payments for contractors

  • VAT returns

  • Month end close and posting journals (accruals, prepayments, fixed assets)

  • Production of management accounts

  • Balance Sheet reconciliations

  • Completing group intercompany account reconciliations

  • Preparation of payroll and posting payroll journals

  • Ad Hoc reporting as required

Key Requirements for the Assistant Management Accountant role:

  • 2+ years of relevant experience working in a finance function (as accounts assistant/assistant accountant/ assistant management accountant) and previous experience preparing management accounts is not required

  • Intermediate Excel skills

  • Understanding of the accounting principals

  • CIMA/ACCA part-qualified or wanting to pursue the qualification
