Back to Our Team

Sarah Roebuck

Partner & Marketing Director

With 12+ years of experience working in marketing roles within the recruitment sector, Eames hired me in 2014 to establish their internal marketing function. At the time, we were an 80-person team and have since grown to an international team of 150, with offices in the UK (where I am based), Zurich, Hong Kong, Singapore and recently, New York (which we opened in early 2022).

As Marketing Director, I lead the global marketing and communications strategy for Eames Group; our contingent business, Eames Consulting; executive search arm, Eames Partnership; and our consulting practice, ECMS, supporting operations across all our global offices.

Recent projects we’ve delivered:

  • Brand refresh across three entities delivered on time and to plan

  • Launch of new Eames Group brand, website and collateral

  • Social media strategy across all brands, driving organic follower growth

  • Internal communications plan for Future at Eames launch

  • Content marketing programme to drive leads for ECMS

  • Launch of a c-suite targeted insurance podcast (The GRID) for Eames Partnership

  • Talent Acquisition marketing plan to support direct internal hiring, including the launch of Secrets of Success podcast and video series

  • Launch of technology-leaders focused podcast (Behind the Desk with Mark Thomas) for Eames Consulting

I am passionate about adding value and delivering marketing activity to drive sales and key business objectives. Great recruitment marketing is about more than just PowerPoint Presentations and branded merchandise. I lead a very driven team that are solutions-focused, consultative, and creative.

In 2021, we delivered a brand refresh across our three core entities and formally launched the Eames Group brand. With this project, I also played a key role in developing our “passionate purpose” (We Are Opportunity Makers) and core values, which we rolled out as part of our Future at Eames plan.

My role is more strategic than executional these days, but I still love to roll up my sleeves and get things done, mainly the creative stuff! The business can rely on me for creative input, consultative advice, and an honest opinion.

When I'm not behind the laptop or getting in face time with the consultants, you can find me tagging along to company incentives, armed with the GoPro to capture all the fun.

Proudest moment of my career?

Being promoted to Partner, delivering on our brand refresh project, being invited to Saffron Club in Monaco on the wildcard spot... there are too many.

Why do I love my job?

I love my job because I have the autonomy to try new things, be agile and adaptive and collaborate with the wider Corporate Services team and sales floor. My ideas are listened to, success is recognised, and I get to work with people I learn from every day and am lucky enough to call my friends. What’s not to love?
