Data Engineer

We are partnered with an established organisation to look for a data engineer

In this role, you will be instrumental in modernising enterprise data pipelines and scaling modern cloud data warehouse capabilities. You will work closely with analytical teams and cross-functional technical stakeholders to deliver high-quality, trusted data assets supporting mission-critical reporting and strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect, construct, and maintain resilient batch and streaming data ingestion pipelines feeding enterprise cloud platforms.
• Design and optimise dimensional data models, analytical schemas, and storage layers within cloud data warehousing environments.
• Implement automated data quality checks, observability controls, and governance frameworks across multi-source operational feeds.
• Partner with downstream business intelligence and application teams to translate functional specifications into robust data products.

Requirements:

• Proven track record in data engineering with hands-on expertise building scalable pipelines and data warehouses.
• Deep technical command of Snowflake, including performance tuning, data sharing, and workload management.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL alongside strong programming capabilities in Python or similar languages.
• Practical exposure to modern pipeline orchestration tools and public cloud platforms.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
