I am Priya, and my role revolves around developing the full potential of fee-earners in our Asia business. I take great pride in fostering their career growth and aiding them in delivering world-class recruitment consultancy services to both clients and candidates. Additionally, I lend my support to the leadership in their ambitious plans to expand our operations in Asia.

In my position, I am responsible for the learning and development, onboarding, and performance of our teams in the Hong Kong and Singapore offices. My primary focus is to ensure a positive and productive employee experience, enabling them to thrive in their roles.

The business can rely on me to execute the basics with exceptional standards and consistency. I am always eager to face challenges head-on and approach them with a growth mindset. No matter the complexity, I enjoy tackling roadblocks and turning them into opportunities. I find a sense of fulfilment not only in closing deals but also in being part of the development journey of our consultants, helping them grow in their respective markets. To me, being an opportunity maker means embracing a growth mindset at all times and seeing every challenge as a chance to learn and perform at the highest level.

Passion, Commitment, and growth mindset!

What is it about recruitment that has kept you in the industry?

I have 15 + years of recruitment experience and worked across France, UK, Philippines, and Singapore. Each time I have experienced self-doubt in learning the market and have been able to prove my magic again and again. I am learning and unlearning every day.

What is the best career advice you’ve ever been given?

The strongest steel has to go through the hottest fire. Being a working parent, moving countries, candidate short market, job short market, tough clients, flaky candidates... you will go through it all and get stronger.
